ETA max has been contracted by the University of Jordan to design and build a 13.7MWp grid-connected rooftop PV system. Upon successful connection with JEPCO, ETA max will be responsible to operate the project for 3 consecutive years.
The scope of work includes design and installation for Thermal Insulation and Water Proofing for nearly all university building’s roofs, state-of-theart Rooftop PV system and an integrated SCADA system, all scheduled for completion within 1 year. Works in the car park zone which is supposed to cater for another 4.3MWp have been awarded to others, adding total generation capacity to around 18MWp, making it the largest net-metering project in Jordan.
University of Jordan, since establishment in 1962, enables its students to choose from more than 3,500 different courses offered by 18 faculties.
It is estimated that around 80 rooftops and 25 car park areas will be utilized for delivering this project.
This project is an excellent addition to the ETA-max growing portfolio and proves its readiness and capability to deliver such flagship projects in Jordan and the region.
