Kawar Energy is responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the largest private-to-private wheeling project in Jordan.
Orange Jordan Solar Farms are the largest project servicing a telecom provider in Jordan. The power plants are located in three different sites across Jordan producing a total capacity of 36.7MW. Kawar Energy has set an extraordinary record regarding the duration it took from the beginning of construction to the completion of the plant.
All three power plants will be transmitting electricity to the grid through the wheeling mechanism and will be producing enough electricity to cover the majority of Orange’s total electricity consumption. The operation and maintenance arm of Kawar Energy will be handling the O&M of all three power plants for the next 20 years.
